Summer in Burbank was always exciting because it meant one thing (aside from scorching ”wait a second I thought California was nice all the time” heat) – Hummingbirds. Yes, these franticly fluttering friends would grace the front yard of our former fairy tale cottage in northern Burbank. Although these pictures are far from first rate – thanks to LA’s famous “June Gloom” – they offer an up-close look at a truly fascinating creature that captivated us for all too short a time. Enjoy!
