Thank you for taking the time to stumble upon my online world. I developed this site to offer better insight into my personal life as well as professional endeavors. More importantly, I hope to reignite existing relationships while fostering the growth for ones to come. I’m a Community Manager by trade, so I’m kind of into that sort of thing.
The links at the top of my site will direct you to static web pages – ones that offer a glimpse into who I am, what I do, and also various ways to stay in touch. Whether through email, Twitter or RSS, I would love to hear from you and stay connected. The links directly under my pretty logo relate to blog categories (more to come soon).
The body of the site itself features a chronological listing of blog entries I pen from time to time. For now they are comprised of various photo libraries, but there is much more to come. Interviews with top minds in new media, advice for entrepreneurial ventures and discussion questions will eventually fill the screen, as well.
Have fun exploring the pages, get a little nosey with my life (don’t worry, I encourage it), and always feel free to stay in touch with any thoughts, comments or questions you have along the way.
Be Happy,
Corey Hartford

The title of my blog isn’t editorially “catchy.” But it’s not meant to be cute, it’s meant to be truth! Yes, because while life can get rather complicated at points, there’s always a simple fact that exists; if you know how to do something that 98% of the rest of the world does not know [...]

I have little to no attention for video games. First, I’m just not a very competitive individual, so I’m never really motivated to score the theoretical winning touchdown or “kill” the theoretical opposition. Second, I’m not a fan of loud noises, bright flashes of light, or spinning around in circles, so the concept of living [...]

So here’s the deal about me and “The News” … I hate it. I mean, I truly do not enjoy watching, reading or listening to the news in any capacity or form whatsoever. Perhaps if I lived in a world where things literally were sugar-coated in order to make them go down easier, or maybe [...]

You just gotta love 8-bit music videos. In a society where these forms of visual art have come to include explosions, month-long production setups, A-list stars and more, there’s something refreshing about making something entertaining in a still-pixilated format. Enter “Goldfish,” a band I just heard about through their likely-to-become-viral hit “We Come Together.” The [...]

Vegas, baby! This past weekend I got to share in the joy of my brother-in-law’s wedding, Vegas style. I’ve never been to a Vegas wedding before, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Were the rumors of thirty-second ceremonies and Elvis officiants true? Would ten dollars in chips really be bestowed upon the happy [...]

I’m pretty stoked about some of the big changes going down over at Mahalo.com. In a nutshell, we’re trying to be your one-stop destination on the web to “Learn Anything”. Whether you’re peeking around for a video on how to play the lead guitar part on MJ’s “Thriller”, wondering how to say “I love you” [...]

If you’ve ever seen Glengarry Glen Ross before, you’re probably well-aware that it’s one of Alec Baldwin’s greatest performances. One scene, in particular, stands out to many business/sales/entrepreneur types – the concept that there is no “second” place. First place … a Cadillac Eldorado. Second place … a set of steak knives. Third place … [...]

Epic. That describes the past seven days. Wake up at 6am to prepare for product launch, fast forward to 2:30am product launch, stay until 5am to check for bugs – sleep until 7am, wake up and repeat. Well, don’t repeat the launch part, obviously. Mahalo 4.0 is slick, sexy and full of some pretty tricked [...]
